RESTORING THE DIGNITY OF THE GIRL CHILD IN THE SOCIETY

Hope for the girl child project reaches out to teen mothers, street girls, and vulnerable girls and provide sanitary towels to the unreached girls and together stand for the rights of the girl child.
Its main work is to restore the dignity of the single mothers to identify the needs and meet the aspiration of the young poor and weaker section of the girl child through participatory approaches. Single mothers and teen mother’s development projects and education.
It involves building local groups and strengthening the development of villages by involving them in the participation of mythology through empowerment, projects that help sustain their lively hood

Hope Centre

Hope Centre is a project where girls find hope and restoration through counseling, life coach, mentorship and also where their rights are defended through advocacy. The Hope Centre will be a rescue Centre for street girls and rehabilitation for teen girls under drugs abuse. We hope and believe through the support we will be able to build the Centre

Objectives
• Provide sanitary towels to the unprivileged poor girls in the society
• Develop projects for single mothers
• To encourage education for the illiterate single mothers and girls in the
society
• Hold campaigns on stopping female circumcision and early marriages
• Provide education skill to empower the teen mothers to be able to stand
for themselves
• Support young teen mothers and also educated young girls on early
marriage and pregnancy

OUR PROGRAMMES

Single mothers project : 
We seek to engage the single mothers in different activities that empower them to stand for themselves
Hand skills : 
This involves making different items that they are able to sell and earn a living helping them cope with life

Healing programs :
Most of the single mothers have wounds from their past, that hinder progress in
their lives, we seek to provide counseling and sessions to restore the dignity and confidence

Illiterate program : 
Some of the single mothers dropped from school and their life took a different turn so we try to take them back to school programs so that they can gain knowledge on what they love to do .such as computer courses, hair dressings ,…………N/B your support to this project will be a blessing

Street girl program :
This is whereby we reach out to street young girls and provide counseling, mentorship, and share ideas together with them that leads to transformation and out of their free will choose to go rehabilitation, go back to school, and join a courses through a restoration program.

Stop female circumcision :
This is a campaign program on abolishing female circumcision and early child
marriages .we create awareness of dangers and consequences of early child
marriage’s and female circumcision through forums, educative video’s, pamphlets, and more.
we also help rescue the girls.

Teen pregnancy and teen mothers : 
We educate teen girls on STD’s, HIV AIDS and early pregnancy burden and also support teen mothers through counseling, mentorship, education and psychosocial support.

Sanitary towel support :
We seek to support young poor girls who can’t afford sanitary towels from the rural
poor villages, the street girls …We ask you to volunteer just to support one dollar a
month and this will restore the dignity of a girl somewhere.
